这个意思就是，有些学校会自动地把那些符合要求的、成绩和表现都特别优异的学生们直接纳进获得者，这样就不用自己再去申了，再去做的话，不光是浪费时间，而且还是多此一举的行为。但是有些学校即便是满足要求也很优秀的学生也是要自己去申的，是不会自动纳进去的，所以要清楚学校是用的哪种做法。
步骤三：了解在专业上的限制
有些种类的是自己所报的那个专业没有办法去申的，所以还要跟着自己的专业。要了解哪些是能申的，哪些是有限制不能申的，再就是最合适自己所报的那个专业的(也就是申的成功几率的那个)。当然也有些是跟着奖学金来的，也就是先看学习哪个专业的这类优惠最多就选哪个，其实这个也是个很不错的方法，因为往往那些好的但是没有什么人知道的专业，不管是学习还是其他的上面，隐藏的优势是很多的。
步骤四：备材料准备去申请
在按着上面的那些步骤做完之后，就基本是能备材料了，还是要申那些合适自己的，申多一些，因为只申单个的话，没申到就要等下次了。当然有些学校是不用申直接自动纳入的话，就这最后一步也是省去了的。
